I hope this Sunday finds you and your family well. While we are unable to meet on Sundays at present, due to the COVID-19 shutdown, we are able to meet online.
Let me encourage you to pray for those in our church who are sick or who are elderly. Pray also for the many doctors and nurses in our church family who are treating the sick. These are our heroes during these days, and we thank God for them. Pray for their safety from getting the virus themselves and for their work that touches so many people.
Questions for Discussion: Here are some discussion questions you and your family can use:
What are some of the common distractions that you have in your life that keep you away from spending time with God? Are you more like Martha or Mary? Would you rather live with a Martha or a Mary? There are many things we have to do in life. What are some things that we don't really need to do but we feel like we do? Can you describe a moment when you were feeling like Martha, worried and upset about a lot of minor things? What is required in order for you to draw a perfect circle? What are you currently doing to put Christ the center of your life? What are some things you need to change to spend more time with Christ? What should be the priority of church life? Blessings, Pastor David
